FIGURE 6: AuNPs sensitize pancreatic cancer cells to gemcitabine. PANC-1 (a), AsPC-1 (b) and MIA-PaCa-2 (c) were first seeded (200 cells/well) in complete medium in 6 wells plates. 24 h later, cells were treated with gemcitabine (5 nM for Panc1, 2.5 nM for Aspc1 and 0.7 nM for Miapaca2) with/without AuNPs at different concentrations (5 μg/ml or 25 μg/ml). 7-10 days later, the colonies were stained with crystal violet and the numbers of colonies were counted (d-f). Independent experiments were repeated for at least three times and each time, at least triplicate wells were used.
